The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed in regards to the substantial quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a superior influx of sassa status prospective beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
